Riverside Residence

Riverside, Illinois

The Village of Riverside was designed by Fredrick Law Olmstead in in 1870s. This two bedroom residence, completed a century later, occupies a small site next to a home designed by Prairie School architect William Drummond. 

With broad expanses of glass and terraces that open to the front yard and rear garden, this concrete and brick structure features a large central skylight and an open staircase.
