Romanticism to Ruin: Two Lost Works of Sullivan and Wright is now open to the public at Wrightwood 659. Curated in part by VHA’s John Vinci, the exhibition contains salvaged architectural artifacts, drawings, digital recreations and models of Louis Sullivan’s demolished Garrick Theater in Chicago.

On October 18, VHA and the Illinois Governor’s Mansion Association received Landmarks Illinois’ Richard H. Driehaus Foundation Preservation Award for Rehabilitation, for the Illinois Governor’s Mansion project, completed in July 2018. Laura Hochuli, AIA accepted the award for VHA and the IGMA.
